We're still in the land of television, but this time we've reached Wall Street, where the big money is!

Welcome to season two of Showtime's seductive Billions. The show picks up right where it left off at the end of season one, with the ruthless U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) continuing his crusade against billionaire hedge-fund king Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis).

The official synopsis of the season reads:

Season 2 picks up immediately after the season one finale, as hard-charging U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades squares off against billionaire hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, scorching the earth in a costly war for personal domination. It’s law versus money, with power, sex, and the soul of New York in the balance. Maggie Siff stars as Wendy Rhoades, Chuck’s estranged wife and the top performance coach in the hedge fund world. Malin Akerman plays Lara Axelrod, Axe’s fiercely loyal and street-smart wife. Season two finds the characters vying for control in a changing world that presents an existential threat. For all of them, it’s a choice between evolution and extinction.

“I hear his name in my sleep and underneath every thought I have.” Such is the relationship between Lewis and Giamatti's characters in the Showtime's drama series.

From the new second-season trailer we can tell that Axelrod's still not going to back down without a fight — and an investigation regarding the methods of Rhoades's office might serve as the perfect opportunity to strike back. Who will come out on top with his quest for personal and professional domination?

The answer will begin unraveling on February 19.
