How about some REMEMORY?

Lionsgate Premiere has released the first Rememory trailer, which you can watch below.

Directed by Mark Palansky (Penelope), the drama revolves around the mysterious death of a scientific pioneer who creates technology that allows you to extract memories and watch them on an external device. This futuristic endeavor is not, however, without consequences. Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, X-Men: Days of Future Past) plays a mysterious man who shows up and decides to try and solve the murder using this memory machine, which allows him to watch memories from other people, thus putting together the pieces of the puzzle. As the investigation continues, a web of intrigue and deceit is uncovered, as well as the consequences of using such a device.

Palansky's last project, Penelope, is a refreshing film and he’s recently been working on Netflix’s colorful A Series of Unfortunate Events. Rememory, however, is more hard-edged sci-fi. (via Collider)

The film also stars Julia Ormond (Mad Men, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Martin Donovan (Ant-Man, Insomnia), Anton Yelchin (Star Trek, Green Room), Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), and Evelyne Brochu (Tom at The Farm). The original script was co-written by Palansky and Mike Vukadinovich. It was produced by Daniel Bekerman and Lee Clay.

Rememory will premiere first on Google Play on August 24th, where it will be free for a limited time. It hits theaters on September 8th. Check out the Rememory trailer below.

The official synopsis reads:

REMEMORY was written by Michael Vukadinovich and Mark Palansky and produced by Daniel Bekerman and Lee Clay. The film explores the unexplained death of Gordon Dunn (Martin Donovan), a visionary scientific pioneer whose body is found shortly after the unveiling of his newest work: a device able to extract, record and play a person’s memories. Gordon’s wife, Carolyn (Julia Ormond – Mad Men, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Legends of the Fall), retreats into her house and cuts off contact with the outside world when a mysterious man (Peter Dinklage – Game of Thrones, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Station Agent) shows up. After stealing the machine, he uses it to try and solve the mystery, beginning an investigation of memories that lead him to unexpected and dangerous places.
