The creator of Trainwreck and Inside Amy Schumer returns with a new jam, this time solely in the acting department. I Feel Pretty has just received a brand new trailer, which you can watch and comment below.

Schumer's character is bursting with confidence in the first trailer for STXfilms’ comedy I Feel Pretty, which debuted Thursday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Schumer portrays Renee, a regular woman who struggles with feelings of insecurity and inadequacy on a daily basis, but awakens from a fall at a fitness club, believing she’s suddenly the most beautiful woman, even though she looks exactly like before. Upon catching her reflection in a mirror, she says, “That’s me? I’m beautiful!” After that, her entire life changes as she experiences it as a beautiful woman, something she's always dreamt of. In a way, this script is the embodiment of many sketches Schumer has wrote in the past, where she questioned the way women look at themselves because of the male gaze.

"In my mind, I [as Renee] am Gisele, I am one the Jenner-Kardashians, gorgeous," Schumer explained to Ellen DeGeneres.

The movie also stars Michelle Williams, Emily Ratajkowski, Rory Scovel, Aidy Bryant, Busy Philipps, Tom Hopper, Adrian Martinez, and Lauren Hutton.

Schumer joined the production of I Feel Pretty in April 2017, shortly after leaving Sony's Barbie movie. STXfilms bought the distribution rights a month later at the Cannes Film Festival. The comedian last starred opposite Goldie Hawn in the mother-daughter comedy Snatched last spring.

"It's a really funny and sweet movie that I think will make us all feel better," Schumer also told DeGeneres. "It made me feel better to play the role."

Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein helmed the film, which marks their feature directorial debut, from their own script. The producers are Wonderland Sound and Vision’s McG and Mary Viola, Voltage Pictures’ Alissa Phillips, Dominic Rustam, and Nicolas Chartier. Schumer also produced the pic. Kevin Kane, a frequent collaborator of Schumer’s, co-produces. Jonathan Deckter and Justin Bursch are executive producers.

You can find I Feel Pretty in theaters starting June 29. Check out the trailer below.
