TVMuse and Right Holders
At TVMuse, right holders earn money from their creations.
If you are an actor, a filmmaker, a studio representative or any other specialist dedicated to the movie business, we make sure you receive your just compensation for your work.
We accomplish this in many ways:
First and foremost, TVMuse is a movie database. Fans from all over the world have the opportunity to discover and learn about YOUR work. YOU the artist, YOU the producer, YOU the studio. We link YOU to your FANS. And as we all know, there's nothing more important than your fans. Fans enable you to receive just compensation - be it monetary, be it recognition - for your work.
We have partnered with dozens of independent movie producers which were promoted on our home page, generating millions of visits to their creations. We've done this at no cost to the producers. Do you have a new movie coming up? Give us an email and we will promote it on the home page.
Second, TVMuse has partnered with the leaders of online movie and online content sales. We have contracts with Amazon, Apple's iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Rogers Canada, Blinkbox, Lovefilm and many many other smaller Video On Demand and independent providers. If you distribute your content via YouTube/VEVO, we also make sure to index and embed your videos from YouTube, making you money from the advertising on the traffic we sent.
Are you a producer of original video content on the Internet? We have you covered. We index thousands of web shows, web originals and live streams. Think Machinima, Fora.tv, Cracked Productions, College Humor and many others.
We're connecting your fans to immediate points of sale/revenue for your creations, enabling your fans to reward you.
Third, TVMuse knows about merchandise and memorabilia. TVMuse individual title pages link to your official websites, connecting your fans to points of sale for your merchandise and directing them to your latest announcements.
Fourth, we make sure to comply with all international laws in regards to intellectual property. We've hired leading Legal500/Chambers ranked lawyers organizations in multiple countries. We have respect for your work as we are avid cinema consumers. We have a large user base and people will post all sort of material in the User Generated Content areas.
While impossible to police everyone, no DMCA complaint will take more than 12 hours to be pursued. Users who infringe on your rights will have their accounts terminated. The content banned is put on a blacklist and it will never again appear even as a link or mention on our website.
Fifth, we are currently negotiating with many of distribution companies to acquire licenses (Video On Demand, Internet) to display a premium, paid catalog on TVMuse. If you have licenses for more than 50 titles and you are interested in exploring a new, alternative revenue stream for your work, please don't hesitate to use the contact form to contact us. We're looking forward to hearing from you. See you in Cannes at the MIP events.
And finally, we're starting to produce our own video content. Our own video news channel is being tested as we write and we're planning to write, direct and produce a whole array of video content - entertainment news, fun and humor, weekly previews and spoiler action. First step of this work here: TVMuse Weekly Preview (cool music by Tim McMorris, singer and songwriter for TV/Film through AudioJungle - check him out: http://audiojungle.net/user/timmcmorris)
